Primo extra virgin olive oil
On an area of 25 hectares in the territory of Chiaramonte Gulfi, in the
heart of the Iblei Mountains of south east Sicily, a family owned
business produces the most prized extra virgin of Italy: Primo extra
virgin olive oil is only obtained from the first green olives of the year
from the
Tonda Iblea variety.

Harvested by hand directly from the tree, the olives are pressed every
evening thus holding the true taste of the Sicilian land.

This particular process yields an oil which is green in color, with gold
reflections.  Primo olive oil is infused with an intense fresh fruit nose of
green tomato and fresh aromatic herbs, with a light finish of almonds
and artichokes. It has just the right balance between bitter spice and
sweetness, thus rendering it a unique italian extra virgin olive oil!

The passion and dedication to search for absolute quality, lead in 2000
to the first historic bottle of Primo extra virgin olive oil with its ‘D.O.P
Monti Iblei’ mark.
